Eighth-graders beat Blue Ridge, Melissa
BLUE RIDGE - The Farmersville Junior High eighth-grade football teams combined to go 2-0 in District 13-2A play on Oct. 18.
They travel to Aubrey at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The A team picked up a 36-6 win over Blue Ridge.
Collecting scores were Colton Monk, Trevor Redwine, Cody Miller and Zack Anderson.
Defensively Cesar Torres, Kale Hendrex and Mathew Donaldson all had good games.
The B team collected a 22-6 victor over Melissa. They were led by scores from James Perez, Lauren Dolphin and Dalton Smith.
Performing well on the defensive side of the ball were Travis Lastaad, Josh Ritchie and Conner Natvig.
Seventh-grade goes 1-0
The seventh-grade B team collected a 6-0 win over Williams on Oct. 18.
They travel to Aubrey at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Turning in good performances were Seth Hernandez, Matthew Nibbelin, Charles Moon, Alex Parker and Josh Rojas.
The A team was idle.
