NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
ON ANNEXATION
Notice is hereby given that public hearings will be held by the Governing Body of the City of Farmersville, Texas in the City Hall, 205 South Main Street, at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27th, 2008, and at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27th, 2008, for the purpose of considering annexation into the city limits of the following described property:
BEING all that certain lot, tract of parcel of land situated in the City of Farmersville, Collin County, Texas, and being a part of the D.J. Jaynes Survey, Abstract Number 471, being part of the 1.325 acres tract described in the deed from Camille Reagan to James Clyde Nesmith recorded in Volume 4815 at Page 1260, Collin County Land Records and being more fully described as the northeast corner of US Hwy 78 at the western service ramp of US Hwy 380.
All interested citizens and property owners are hereby notified of their right to appear and be heard on the matter. 20-3t-124-49
Advertisement for the Sale of Property:
Farmersville ISD is selling four (4) portable buildings. Each building is 30’ x 22’ in size. All include electrical, and an A/C, Heat combo window unit. The buildings are currently located on the North side of Tatum Elementary School, 405 N. Washington St., Farmersville, TX 75442. Questions regarding the buildings may be addressed to Alex Dowell, 972-782-8241.
The buildings will be sold to the highest bidder(s). The successful bidder(s) will be responsible for all costs associated with the movement of the buildings from school property. All sealed bids must be submitted to FISD administration, 501A Hwy 78 North, Farmersville, TX 75442 by 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2008. Bids received after that time, will not be considered for response. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope, and clearly marked, “Portable Building Bid” on the outside of the envelope.

COPEVILLE SPECIAL UTILITY DISTRICT CANCELS ELECTION
COPEVILLE SPECIAL UTILITY DISTRICT ANNOUNCES THE CANCELLATION OF THEIR ANNUAL ELECTION OF DIRECTORS, ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR MAY 10, 2008. THE ELECTION WAS FOR TWO AT-LARGE POSITIONS ON THE BOARD. THE CANCELLATION IS DUE TO ALL CANDIDATES BEING UNOPPOSED ON THE BALLOT ACCORDING TO SEC 2.052, OF THE ELECTION CODE.
THE CANDIDATES THAT ARE UNOPPOSED FOR THE THREE-YEAR TERM POSITIONS ARE WINDELL RICE AND JEFF HOLLOMON.

Will hold a public auction of property being sold to satisfy a landlords lien. Sale is May 24th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., at Northwest corner of FM 546 & FM 3286, Branch, TX.
