Two suspects have been arrested, and more than $17,000 worth of merchandise has been recovered in the burglary of Ride Right/Logo Legends which occurred April 1.

Anna resident, Heath Nestrick, 18, and Copeville resident, Ronald McQueen, 17, were arrested in connection with the burglary and are being charged with burglary of a building.

The two suspects are being held on a $10,000 bond in Collin County jail.

“We’re still looking at other suspects and recovering merchandise,” said Stefanie Foster, lead investigator on the case and Farmersville police officer.

“After we had an informant come to us, we were able to obtain search warrants, and arrests were made within a couple of days.”

Much of the merchandise was being held in a Wylie storage facility and at the suspect’s residences.

The police were able to get back many of the rodeo vests which had been sold to people including an autographed vest valued at between $750 to $1200 that was signed by 45 of the top bull riders.

“We’re very excited they found the guys,” owner of Ride Right Rex Thain said. “The community can rest easier now. We’re also excited about the prospect of getting all of the merchandise back.”

According to Farmersville Police Chief Pannell, depending on the judge, the suspects could get anything from probation, fines or a short amount of jail time.

Along with Foster, SRO Tracy Reagan assisted with the investigation along with Pannell.

“Foster did about 90 percent of the work,” Pannell said. “I’m proud of them, they did a good job.

We solve little cases every day, but nothing of this caliber.”
