Taste of Farmersville hosted at Onion Shed
The inaugural Taste of Farmersville organized by the First United Methodist Church will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 24 at the Onion Shed in Farmersville.
Tickets are $1 each and participants can get a small portion of local restaurants signature dishes for $2 to $3 worth of tickets.
Scheduled vendors for the event are; Anlyn Brothers Coffee Company, Charlie’s Old Fashioned Burgers, Mr. Jim’s Pizza, Sugar Hill Country Kitchen, Big Taco’s, Back Forty, Dairy Queen, Tony’s Mexican Restaurant, Savannah’s Meadow, Henry’s Bar-B-Que, La Fogata’s Mexican Restaurant, Jalapeno’s Mexican Grill, Brookshire’s, Exxon Deli, Sonic and Naturel View.
All proceeds will go toward Farmersville mission work.
Participants are also encouraged to bring photos of veterans and active duty personnel to display on a memory board in honor of Memorial Day.
