Anna Marie ‘Miss Marie’ Walton Bryson
Funeral services for Anna Marie “Miss Marie” Walton Bryson , 77, of Princeton were held April 3, 2010 in the Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home chapel in McKinney.
The Rev. Roger Berghauser officiated.
She was born Aug. 14, 1932, in Clear Lake to Robert and Eula Bowman Walton.
Mrs. Bryson died March 30 in Plano.
According to her family, her passion was fishing. She would fish from morning until night, sometimes all night. She was very well respected in her hometown of Branch.
Mrs. Bryson was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eula Walton and husband, Chuck Bryson.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Bryson of Ft. Worth; Paula Walton of Branch and Olivia ‘Libby’ Frost of Branch; sons, Michael Frost of Anna and Joe Pizzica and wife Kathy of Oceanside, Calif. and Mike LaFon; granddaughter, Bryana Watson and husband Cole of Denison; grandson, Justin Pizzica of Oceanside, Calif. and cousin, Nathan Powell.
She is also survived by her only brother: Robert Walton of Branch.
According to her family, the ones that will miss her most are her dogs and cats: Brandy, Cassie, Gidget, Sugar, Lady, Jake (the dogs), Sam, and Sonshine (the cats).
Arrangements were under the direction of Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in McKinney.
