Shortly before 6 p.m. tonight a house at 209 E. Santa Fe St. in Farmersville caught fire. Neighbors said the house had been vacated and that they did not believe anyone was inside the building at the time of the blaze.
 
The house was fully engulfed but firefighters were able to keep the blaze isolated and prevented its spread to nearby residences.
 
Both Josephine and Princeton Fire Departments were called in for mutual aid.
